Andrew graduated from the University of Melbourne with a B.E. in Metallurgy and a M.Eng.Sc. and more recently a PhD from the University of Cape Town. He has over 40 years of experience in a variety of engineering, operational, managerial and consulting roles in the fields of minerals processing, hydrometallurgy, plant design and process engineering. This includes base-metal, iron ore and industrial mineral concentrators, precious metals, uranium, nickel and copper leaching facilities and base-metal smelting. Andrew has designed flotation equipment (particularly columns) and concentrators, and commissioned flotation and precious metals leach plants. In addition, he has had considerable experience in process, project and process plant evaluations, due diligences, feasibility studies and metallurgical testing and program development.
Andrew is a member of the SME, CIMM, AusIMM (CP) & EA (CP).
He has published 30 papers and holds 13 patents.
Andrew has been with RPMGlobal as an Executive Consultant in Processing, for over 10 years, conducting Due Diligences, Studies and Consulting.
